To be a young farmer you must live on a farm, wear green wellies at all times and speak with a broad Yorkshire accent, right? WRONG! To be a young farmer you must be between the ages of 10 and 26 - that's all. Male or female, farmer or non-farmer, anyone can join.

What we have to offer:
First and foremost by becoming a Young Farmer you will no doubt meet some life long friends. There are definitely some characters in our club and everyone is great to get to know! The list of competitions you can take part in is endless. The opportunities we offer could set you up for life: from gaining experience in running a club to taking part in a 3 month trip to Kenya!
Meetings:
We hold weekly meetings on a Tuesday at Samples farm Walkington. These consist of educational talks, activities, farm trips & preparation for competitions, Plus lots of parties!
